The Mood Raven Shirt Dress (Two Sessions)

Continue to develop your skills with a classic garment--the shirt dress. This flattering design is always in style, and in a stretch ponte de roma knit, it is effortless and comfortable. This project is also a great introduction to sewing with knits; both sewing machines and/or sergers are welcome for this one!

Bring your machine, power cord, foot/floor pedal, all-purpose presser foot, one wound bobbin and a spool of thread matching your fabric, a small pair of thread snipping scissors, sharp fabric scissors, pincushion with straight pins, and your instruction book. A twin needle for hemming is also recommended but not required. Must know how to operate and troubleshoot your machine. You must register to receive the fabric yardage requirements for the size you intend to sew.  Your fabric must be washed and dried prior to class. The dress pattern is provided in class.
