Summer Tween/Teen Series--Sewing Mat and Scrap Catcher--June 17

Our Tween/Teen Summer Sew classes are held in a friendly and supportive environment here at our store where students can learn and have fun! Tween/Teen classes are designed for a beginner to a more advanced young sewist. Previous students have loved the hands-on approach and the projects.

Each class is stand-alone.  No prerequisites required. Most required class supplies or notions can be purchased here at our store with a 10% class discount after class registration! Each student must provide the required fabric and supplies for their individual project(s) for each class.

Sewing Mat and Scrap Catcher:  A Place for Everything in Your Sewing World! Create the perfect companion to your machine! This sewing machine placemat serves as a nice slip – proof base for your machine with pockets and a detachable thread basket. Threading your sewing machine, winding a bobbin, machine safety, and safe use of an iron are reinforced in this class as you learn to sew straight seams, topstitch, and more. Bring your sewing machine with all the cords, foot pedal, instruction manual, one empty bobbin, machine accessories, pincushion with straight pins, and sewing scissors. Student machines may also be borrowed for the class. Supply list for this awesome project is available for email or in the store when you register. Bring your lunch and a snack or two. Bottled water is provided.
