Sewing Basics

Take your basic sewing machine knowledge to the next level with this hands-on class. Learn sewing techniques such as maintaining accurate seam allowances, what are grain lines, and proper pinning and ironing for future sewing projects.  Master sewing curves and corners, as well as different seam finishes.  Experience sewing a blind hem, a machine made buttonhole, and even sew on a flat button.  This class is packed with information to keep you going in your creative sewing journey. You must know how thread your sewing machine and wind a bobbin. Bring your sewing machine with all the cords, foot pedal, instruction manual, one empty bobbin, machine accessories, and basic sewing notions/supplies. Fabric and thread is supplied in class.
