Easy Drawstring Bag -- Mar 28

This class is perfect for the beginner sewist of any age, creating a cute and easy drawstring bag out of quilting cotton. We’ll practice measuring and cutting our fabric, maintaining accurate seam allowances, and techniques to create a lined bag. Bring your sewing machine with all the cords, foot pedal, instruction manual, bobbin, thread, and basic sewing notions/supplies. Student machines are also available to use in class. Pattern included in class fee.

You may purchase one of our discounted project kits with your registration or bring your own materials:

• six (6) 5" squares of quilting cotton
• ⅓ yd of coordinating fabric
• ½ yd of lining fabric
• ⅛ yd for drawstrings or 2 yds twill tape
• two (2) 1" wooden beads (optional)
