Bucket Hat Workshop

In this confident beginner friendly class, you will learn how to construct a classic bucket hat. The hat pattern is included in the class fee. Bring your sewing machine in good working order, power cord, foot pedal, presser feet for your model of sewing machine, pincushion with straight pins, seam ripper, small scissors, fabric scissors, one spool of sewing thread that matches your main fabric, one wound bobbin of the same sewing thread.

Fabric suppliesneeded for your hat:

• ½ yard of a firm, medium-weight woven fabric for the outer hat
• ½ yard of a quilting cotton for the lining
• ½ yard of Fusible Interfacing (Pellon SF101) to give structure to the hat brim.

Bring a canned drink along with a packed lunch to make this a day
of sewing fun!
