Sewing Machine Basics

This hands-on class is for the newbie who has never used a sewing machine or needs a refresher.  Learn the parts of your sewing machine as well as sewing terms.  Learn how to thread your machine and wind a bobbin. Then find out how and when to adjust machine tension, change needles, sew a straight line, trouble shoot common machine sewing problems, and how to care for your machine for many years of sewing fun.  Bring your sewing machine with all the cords, foot pedal, instruction manual, one empty bobbin, machine accessories, and basic sewing notions/supplies.
