After we review use of the sewing machine, we'll tackle making scrunchies, an adorable owl pin cushion, and a fabric wallet. Threading your sewing machine, winding a bobbin, machine safety, and safe use of an iron are reinforced in this class as you learn to use a simple pattern, sew straight seams, topstitch, and more. Bring your sewing machine with all the cords, foot pedal, instruction manual, one empty bobbin, machine accessories, pincushion with straight pins, and sewing scissors. Student machines may also be borrowed for the class.  Supplies for this class are provided by Ashby. Bring your lunch and a snack or two.
