This is the ideal class for sewists that want to learn clothing and home décor construction. An Artist or Chef Apron is one

of the quickest and most versatile garments you can sew as you learn sewing techniques and pattern fundamentals at the same time. You will learn to read a pattern, layout the pattern, pin and cut fabric, mark the fabric, make narrow straps, sew accurate seam allowances, enclose a hem, utilize your machine’s built in decorative stitches, and more! The emphasis is on sewing skills and the construction process. Bring a bag lunch and a few snacks. Bottled water is available.

Prerequisite: Must know how to operate your machine
